Nowadays, physiotherapists integrate both the western and traditional Chinese medicine theory in their practices in order to obtain the best treatment results. Therefore physiotherapists also perform acupuncture and Chinese manual therapy to patients in addition to conventional physiotherapy treatments.
(We would suggest patients choose accredited acupuncturist or with related acupuncture training therapists to perform acupuncture)

During the first treatment session, our physiotherapists will conduct a detail comprehensive assessment in order to prescribe an individualized treatment plan.
Therefore, the first session will take a longer time (approximately 45 min to 60 min, depending on the complexity of the case). Treatment plan is individualized; the time for treatment may vary among patients. To minimize your wait time, please make appointment with us beforehand.

The number of physiotherapy sessions needed varies with different clients and their conditions. Therefore, there is no fixed number for physiotherapy sessions.
However, we would usually evaluate the patient's response towards treatment on every visit, and modify the treatment plan accordingly after detailed assessment. If you have any questions about the number of treatment sessions needed, please feel free to contact our therapists.

Personal Accident Insurance usually includes the assessment fee (for example, X-ray) and treatment fee (Doctor and Physiotherapist).
When patients seek consultation from doctor, patients need to explain when, where and how did the injury occurred. Even if the sign of injury is obvious, the patient should tell the doctor as well.
